Focusing on optimizing healthy buildings, Velocity BTS offers a hybrid approach to providing single-source building technical services including Test & Balance, Controls, and Commissioning services, as well as highly qualified specialties in Indoor Air Quality improvements, Energy Evaluations, and Fire-Life Safety Compliance.  Velocity BTS offers their services to mechanical contractors, facility managers, and building owners, acting as both a subcontractor and an independent expert resource.

Led by Hermanson and industry veterans Brad Sharp (Director of Technical Services), Tom Poe (Director of Controls / TAB Superintendent), and Clair Gehrt (Director of Operations), Velocity BTS officially began operations in early January 2021. “We are excited to offer our clients a great team of highly-skilled technicians and knowledgeable industry experts who are dedicated to the industry and its future,” notes Sharp.  

Velocity BTS is unique in its breadth of services and is structured to respond to balancing sustainability and carbon neutrality, the health and comfort of building occupants, and the growth of smart systems that monitor and maintain a building’s internal environment.
